Moto X costs $5 more to be assembled in the USA
The Moto X is the newest phone from Motorola and Google. This phone has had alot of hype but it seems to be a bit underwhelming device, since it somewhat comparable to GS3 phone spec wise. But what makes this phone an awesome device is the customization it comes being able to choose from a variety colors and maybe in the future being able to engrave as well.
The Moto X is looking to cost around $221 to be assembled. And it looks like it costs Motorola , or Google, $5 more to have them assembled in the USA. One would think it isn’t alot but after several million devices( if it does sell as many) will add up. But since it allows such deep customization that it needs to have them ship quickly so the need for them to be assembled in USA. Also its good PR apparently.
