Mac Pro Unavailable in Europe

This January, reports said that Apple would stop selling their last generation of Mac Pro Computers in Europe starting March 1st due to new political standards in the region of Europe. Starting this week, the Apple desktop is shown as “not available” in some European web-sites. This, because of the amendment to the IEC60950-1 a regulation that increases the requirements of electrical port protection and the fan guards in the computers. The computer is still available in the Americas and Australia, but Apple cannot import anything from Europe as well.

About The Author

Hello every one, I'm Jorge Blanket, a Hispanic guy, born in Texas, raised by a pack of wolves in Mexico City. I spend my free time, playing video games (mostly Halo or Nintendo's first parties), drawing, watching movies or TV series, reading novels and comics or just listening to music. I am a true Star Wars fan and I can't wait for the government to build the real death star. I hope you enjoy the site.
