It’s true! Intel Will Introduce an Internet-based TV Service This Year

There were a lot of rumors about Intel and their new TV service, but the company has remained silent until this day. Erik Huggers, who is in charge of Intel Media confirmed that Intel will release an Internet-based TV service and a box during this year. Huggers didn’t provide much details but he said that the box will come with a built-in camera that will detect who is in front of the TV and that Intel will provide the hardware and services directly.

For the first time, we will deliver…a new consumer-electronics product that people will buy from Intel through a new brand.” Huggers said.

Intel has a bast history revolutioning the TV industry. I can’t wait to get mine, I am sure this will be the Cable-Television-Killer.
