Microsoft Surface Pro Will Hit Stores On February 9

Microsoft has finally announced the release date for their most powerful surface, February 9. You already know the pros and cons of this Pro Surface over the RT version. First of all, the PRO version will run full Windows 8 Pro operating system, unlike the Surface RT  which runs the Windows 8-optimized Metro apps. The Pro version has an Intel Core i5 processor and its a little bit thicker and heavier than the Surface RT.

It also has a shorter battery life compared to the RT, the Pro lasts approximately 5 hours. The Surface Pro also includes 4GB of RAM and a beautiful 1920X1080 full HD display. In addition, the tablet has pressure-sensitive capabilities for the use of a stylus which comes also with both of the versions, 64 and 128 GB.

I have to say that even though the price is a little bit high ($899 and $999 respectively) it absolutely draws my attention and I’ve been wanting one since I first saw the Windows Keynote. This device is so powerful that it can easily replace both your laptop and tablet. Here are some extra specs.
