Instagram Asking for Personal Information

iPhone users how would you feel if you were asked to submit a government ID in order to upload pictures of yourself through Instagram? Safe or frustrated? Well after Instagram’s latest TOS update, it has been asking users to confirm their identities with a government ID such as a drivers license or a passport. Personally, it seems unsafe to submit personal information via Internet, but according to Facebook’s head quarters it has been confirmed to be legit.

But that is not all; some forms of ID are insufficient, which can leave you without using Instagram until you are asked for other information. If Instagram is synced with Facebook, why would it ask you for extra information when you have already inputted your Facebook username and password?

What do you think about this?

About The Author

Hello every one, I'm Jorge Blanket, a Hispanic guy, born in Texas, raised by a pack of wolves in Mexico City. I spend my free time, playing video games (mostly Halo or Nintendo's first parties), drawing, watching movies or TV series, reading novels and comics or just listening to music. I am a true Star Wars fan and I can't wait for the government to build the real death star. I hope you enjoy the site.
