Redbox Instant by Verizon

Redbox is going digital, now they will be streaming all their movies just like Netflix does. This service is scheduled to go live in December. The streaming-only subscription will start at $6 per month with unlimited use of the video catalog. The virtual library will be smaller than the one from Netflix, but will have more recent titles. Redbox Instant by Verizon will also offer a plan for those who want DVD movies at just $8. It will give you additional Redbox credits that can be used at any kiosk. You will be able to reserve DVD’s from their website and mobile app. Also, Redbox Instant will provide Video On Demand rentals that will start at $0.99.

The service will be initially available on the internet, Android and Apple devices, Xbox and select Samsung devices. Blockbuster is now in bankruptcy, and Redbox is one of the responsibles, do you think that Redbox Instant will also kick Netflix’s ass? We’ll see.

Hello every one, I'm Jorge Blanket, a Hispanic guy, born in Texas, raised by a pack of wolves in Mexico City. I spend my free time, playing video games (mostly Halo or Nintendo's first parties), drawing, watching movies or TV series, reading novels and comics or just listening to music.
