Google Fiber adds Turner channels, like CNN and Cartoon Network
Google is really try to push its Fiber Internet and Cable network “Google Fiber” which launched in Kansas City earlier this year. Google recently added Turner networks, such as CNN and Cartoon network. There lineup of channels was lacking slightly at first, but they are npw starting to catch up with there competition. Residents in Kansas City are able to get Crazy fast 1 Gigabit internet and Fiber television for $120 a month, that also includes a Nexus 7 tablet, which Google wants you to use as your televisions remote, and it is pared up with there included TV box, which gives you access to 1080P (most cable providers broadcast, or are only able to broadcast in 720p max) Live TV , On-demand and Internet Content, such as Youtube, Netflix, Hulu etc. Google also includes a 2 TB storage box, which acts as a DVR and can store practically limitless recorded TV content. A Gigabit Modem/router combo is also included. On top of all that Google gives you1 TB! of space on there Google Drive service, which is similar to there competitors services, such as DropBox and SkyDrive. All in all it is a great value for $120 a month, but in my eyes the 1Gigabit internet is what truly shines, that is some crazy fast internet. Hopefully Google expands to other cities soon, and gives some competition for the big dogs such as Comcast, At&t and Verizon.
